Happy Birthday!!!

Today we celebrate Jeremy’s Birthday.  His only request this year was to eat crepes.  So we had family and some friends over for a night of sugary crepes… and lots of laughter.  Jeremy makes me laugh every day.  I love him!

Onesies

When I lived in Monterey for a few months one summer I became really good friends with Shana and Jordan.  Lucky for them, they met each other and got married a year (or two) later.  I adore both of them.  This fall I was thrilled to find out they had adopted a little boy and [...]

Half Way There!

According to the calendar I’m 29 1/2 today.  Halfway to turning 30.  Back on my 29th birthday I made a 30 Before 30 list.  30 things I wanted to do during my 30th year of life.  To be honest,

Happy Earth Day!

Or in non-computer geek terms, “Think Globally, Act Locally” is our message to you this Earth Day!
What does that mean exactly?  For me, it’s a reminder that my actions to take care of my local environment; whatever that environment may consist of (skyscrapers, suburbia, open country), have an impact globally.  What you choose to eat, buy, drive, spray, [...]

Baby Shower

Last Wednesday the Young Women held a surprise baby shower for Joie (our Young Womens President).  We decided to make a bunch of onesies for her new baby boy.  We borrowed the idea from a another blog I read, Simply Radiant.  I think the girls had a good time, and it was fun to surprise [...]

What the Holidays Looked Like Around Here

Ugly Sweater Party-  a sweater was hard to find, so I ended up with these two vests.

My Parents came to visit.  Mom and I did a lot of baking.  My cookies didn’t quite look like that.  Mom said they looked more like Mexican Flag cookies.  It was so fun to have them here!

Our annual Hammafication… [...]
