Some how I convinced Jeremy to spend 5+ hours on a boat in the rain in hopes of seeing whales!
We Bundled Up!
And though the rain tried to ruin our view, this is what we saw…
What? You don’t see anything?! Look closely
How about now?
We were lucky enough to see a large portion of the J-Pod. One [...]
We made it to our first Sounders game of the season, and had a blast. Our tickets were in the general admission area so we went early and ended up with front row seats! Sitting amongst the avid Sounders Supporters was epic. They never sit down (which I personally like), but they never stop yelling, [...]
This is me the night my passport arrived!
When I was young (and very naive), I set a goal to visit every country. As I grew up a bit I changed that to every continent… Antarctica being at the top of my list. I’m not sure I’ll reach that goal, but at least with a passport [...]
On July 24th we celebrated our 3rd anniversary. We returned to Cannon Beach and stayed at the Stephanie Inn like we did on our Honeymoon and 1st year anniversary. We had a great time….

Flying Kites…
Buying a new Kite…
Eating food while watching the sunset from our patio…

Eating cupcakes…
Going to dinner…
Eating [...]
The countdown begins. Only 4 more weeks to go!
On June 26th I will be participating in my first Triathlon… a Sprint Triathlon that is. For about 5 years I’ve been wanting to do one, but never committed to training. But this year as I contemplated my 30 before 30 list, I knew this had to [...]

Okay, to be [...]
Today we packed our bags, ate one last time at Ken’s Pancake House
Back in 2nd grade (I think) I sang with two girls in a school talent show a song called “What’s more American.” I can’t remember many of the words, but one of the lines goes like this… “What’s more American than hot dogs?” Actually, now that I think about it, I’m not sure that is [...]
For the last two weeks Jeremy and I have been going out on Fridays after work for Date Night! At Enrichment Night at church we were given the challenge to do “non-media” dates for a month. It’s been a lot of fun so far!
Week 1: Picnic and card games at Juanita Bay Park.
We grabbed sandwiches, [...]
Day 0:
[Jeremy] We arrive in “beautiful” California! My initial reactions were 1) The fine folks in South LA like to decorate with barbed wire. 2) In case of Zombie apocalypse LA will fair very well since every building and home is a veritable fortress. Oh, and 3) Palm “trees” (while cool) are really just bushes [...]
